Tlaxcala is a small state in the center of our country only 120 km east of Mexico City. In Tlaxcala, pre-Hispanic and Spanish traditions are intertwined in popular festivals and fairs. It has a wealth of history and culture that since colonial times has been reflected in its most precious buildings such as the Historic Center of the capital whose initial layout dates back to 1525.

Tlaxcala receives for the first time the cycling race L'Étape Tlaxcala by Tour de France, a competition that challenges both amateurs and cycling professionals who wish to live the experience of the mythical Tour de France.
